Each map is handmade with pen ink and watercolours. On a paper surface.

We have a collection of vintage nautical charts from the 70s & 90s of different parts of Scotland and the UK, so we want to give them the life they deserve! Each map is unique and could include any part of Scotland. Smilla will personally customise the perfect nautical chart for you with your chosen animal or marine-related subject (eg. Your own yacht).  

These maps come from a personal collection, therefore have some wrinkles and age marks that make each one of them unique. This also means that the print will need to be framed to stay flat. The nautical chart will be sent in a roll.

When clicking on the link, you will access Smilla's shop on Etsy. There you can send your order and write the personalization you want on your map.

2. Share your photos of the personalisation (animal or boat) you desire.

3.  I'll create a sketch based on your preferences, which will be sent to you for approval.

4. Within 5-7 days, your custom artwork will be completed and ready for delivery.

5. The delivery time (3-5 days) will vary based on your location.

6. Finally, prepare to receive your breathtaking vintage painted map as it makes its way to your doorstep!
